    Traditional Living

Traditional doesn’t have to mean outdated. An orangery can make a real impression on a period property, without clashing or detracting from your home’s unique character.

Conservatory Case Studies

At Foxfurd we take great pride in designing aesthetically beautiful and functional conservatories. Here are some case studies from projects we have worked on.

Town House Conservatory
To maximise an under-used space, this project involved designing a large conservatory to sit in between two wings at the rear of this substantial property situated in Bridgnorth.

Improving Existing Conservatory
The brief for this project was to replace the existing conservatory, while re-using the base. This had been a classic example of a glass-house that was too hot and bright in the summer and too cold in the winter, so our initial priority was to improve on the performance of the glazing specification.

Conservatory Design
For this project, a local architect had already been employed to help with the complete renovation of the property, including new side extensions — designed to incorporate glazed roof lanterns — and a conservatory at the rear.

Conservatory on a Listed Building
Working with the restrictions posed by Listed buildings is one of our specialities. In this instance, the client was aiming to create a traditional conservatory/greenhouse to the side of the property, with this construction to include access to the rear gardens.

Replacement Conservatory
With this project, the client had purchased the property and had spent some time renovating the main dwelling. The next phase of the build was to replace the rear conservatory and create a new link from the main house to the adjoining coach house.

Whether modest or grand, Foxfurd’s conservatory and orangery designs are tailor made to our customers’ specific requirements. Every last detail will be finely tuned and delivered to the highest possible standard and quality.
