Listed Building Conservatory

Listed building in Gloucester

Our Work

Project Overview

Working with the restrictions posed by Listed buildings is one of our specialities. In this instance, the client was aiming to create a traditional conservatory and greenhouse to the side of the property, with this construction to include access to the rear gardens.

The brief was further widened to include the landscaping to the rear, extending the steps and balustrade to match the existing terrace.

The finished conservatory combined the utility of a conventional greenhouse with the benefits of a modern conservatory, with a result to be enjoyed by both plants and people. Internally it enhanced the flow between house and garden, while externally the window style and colouring ensured it chimed sympathetically with the historic building.
