Alternatively, rich plum tones, citrus yellow, and pale pink – no doubt, inspired by the new Barbie film – will also be popular choices.
If you do opt for a bold shade, many people choose to make a feature wall out of it.
However, don’t feel you have to restrict the bright colour to just one wall, as it is becoming increasingly popular to paint entire rooms in an electric shade these days.
