A lot of heat is lost through the roof in winter, and conversely, a lot of unwanted heat is generated by glass roof panels in the summer, It may be worth replacing the roof with one that has thermally efficient glazing panels if not a conservatory with much less glass entirely.

Look For Soundproofing
One benefit of carpets and curtains is that they not only help to keep you warm and comfortable, but they also double as effective soundproofing devices.
It is always essential to be conscientious of the people living around you, particularly if you want to entertain, as the conversation, music and entertainment sometimes carry across the winter night air.
Blackout curtains, with their thick material, are an effective if potentially excessive solution, as is a thick, soft-pile carpet. But both of these will help to stop your party from being disturbed, especially if it intends to continue long into the night.
Choose Your Furniture Wisely
There are several schools of thought when it comes to conservatory interior design, depending on how versatile you need the space to be.
One potential option is to go bespoke with your seating design, building all the way to the edge of the room and maximising the amount of space available. This is costly but can make even a modest conservatory a great dining environment.
Make sure you have a place for everything you need to use the conservatory space normally; if you have a home office here, make sure you have integrated storage and a desk that can be moved and folded out of place.
